While collaborating on PILLA: the Bestiary with its creator, Rafael Maldonado Bad-hand, I was given the creative freedom to come up with my own monstrosities to introduce into his world from scratch. We had an ongoing theme of 'everything is not what is seems' and this three fit perfectly. In addition to that, I was also responsible for creating an ecosystem for the critters to take part in.
The Blood Birds maintain a symbiotic relationship with the Rot Rabbit, and the Prickly Nibbler preys on the Blood Birds, keeping their populations in check. The Rot Rabbit preys on large herbivores like Dog Dog!

I used my love of nature to base their relationships and designs off of real world animals.
